Planet X has one of the most advanced screening rooms in all of Pakistan. The latest technologies have made this place totally colossal. The most expensive AV hardware has been used most expertly to achieve the best possible results. It seems that QUALITY was the only motto the creator of this place had and once you get an eyeful of this place, you know that no expense has been spared----Bravo! Hasan.  

The Theatre has been functioning for about two years now and it keeps on getting better every day as all AV equipment is constantly upgraded and kept high check. It uses the latest Audio Video technology and is known for using exclusive brands like KLIPSCH, POLKAUDIO and BOSE. To produce the best possible surround sound in Dolby Digital, the screening room uses the following equipment:

To satisfy your hearing appetite the theatre’s center channels use KLIPSCH 600 Watt Speakers. These center channels play an important part in creating surround sound to produce life like audio and in some cases it’s even better than the real thing.

To move your heart, soul and tympanic membrane huge POLKAUDO LS 250 speakers have been used. These main channels produce amazing amounts of power, 250 Watts, to be exact. The sound produced is absolutely soul satisfying with a 44 MAGNUM punch.

To blast you away, the proprietor has kindly provided KLIPSCH Powered Sub woofers creating an amazing amount of OOOMPH with 350 Watts of bass, It can be vowed to the fact that once you step out of the theatre you feel as if you have been run over by a 1000 tonne express train.

What is holding all this together, you ask! No ordinary lamp cords can hold together all this power> Once again only the best has been used. Cables and wires come from MONSTER and TIFF. These brands are known for producing the best speaker cables and connection wires in the whole world.

All this audio equipment needs a very powerful amp and the one at Planet X is an absolute HONEY. The amp is none other than the world renowned YAMAHA DSP A1 with DTS and DOLBY DIGITAL. The theatre has the best in audio equipment but that does not mean that the video hardware was, in any way, ignored, for the ultimate quality in video projection only the best has been used.

For producing the best projection, the magic lantern being used is a PANASONIC, PT L595E with 800 lumens. The light falls upon a 130-inch DELITE model B High Gain Screen. The screen is extremely huge and it is a real treat to watch action sequences on it. 

This is an amazing array of theatre décor. The colour scheme is the perfect combination of black, dark green and red. The walls are covered are covered with dark green American Micro velvet. The seating capacity is 34 and the comfy sofas are upholstered in red. Each seat has its own armrest and cup holder. The seats are perfectly divided into five levels, so if the gentleman in front of you is wearing a five-gallon cowboy hat, it won’t bother you none.

All in all Planet X is, no doubt, one of the greatest and most well equipped screening rooms in Pakistan.
